Past Perfect Tense
Definition :- जब कोई कार्य ( Work) भूतकाल ( Past time) में सम्पन्न हुआ हो , तब उसे Past Perfect Tense कहा जाता हैं।
पहचान :- चुका था , चुकी थी , चुके थे , या था , आ था ', ई थी , ए थे
जैसे ;
1. वह खाना खा चुका था ।
2. मैंने उसे देखा था ।
3. वह नहीं आयी थी ।
4. आपने एक घर खरीदा था ।
5. खुशी ने परीक्षा की तैयारी की थी ।
▪️Affirmative Sentences▪️
Rule 1 :- Subject कोई भी हो जैसे ( I, You, We, They, He, She, it, Singular noun हो या Plural noun) Subject के बाद Had लगाकर verb की 3rd form लगाते हैं ।
Examples ;
1. वह आया था ।
He had come.
2. वह गयी थी ।
She had gone.
3. तुम पटना जा चुके थे।
You had gone to Patna.
4. खुशी ने परीक्षा की तैयारी की थी।
Khushi had prepared for the examination.
5. हमलोगों ने उसे एक किताब दिया था ।
We had given a book to him.
▪️Negative Sentence ▪️
Rule 1 :- इसमें had के बाद not लगाते हैं ।
Examples ;
1. हमलोगों ने लालकिला नहीं देखा था।
We had not seen the Red Fort.
2. आपने परीक्षा की तैयारी नहीं की थी।
You had not prepared for the examination.
3. बच्चे खेलने नहीं गए थे ।
The children had not gone to play.
4. वह नहीं आया था।
He had not come.
5. मैं पाठ याद नहीं कर चुका था।
I had not remembered the lesson.
▪Interrogative Sentences▪️
Rule 1 :- अगर Sentence क्या से Start हो तो Had कर्ता ( Subject ) से पहले लिखते हैं और फिर verb की third form लगा देते हैं ।
Examples :-
1. क्या हमलोगों ने लालकिला देखा था
Had we seen the red Fort ?
2. क्या आपने परीक्षा की तैयारी की थी ?
Had you prepared for the examination ?
3. क्या बच्चे खेलने गए थे ?
Had the children gone to play ?
4. क्या वह आया था ?
Had he come ?
5. क्या रवि ने उसे एक किताब दिया था ?
Had Ravi given a book to him ?
