Past Perfect Continuous Tense
Definition : जब कोई कार्य भूतकाल (past) में Start होकर कुछ समय तक चला और भूतकाल(past) में ही समाप्त हो गया हो , तब उसे Past Perfect Continuous Tense कहा जाता हैं।
पहचान : से रहा था , से रही थी , से रहे थे ,
जैसे ;
1. वह सुबह से टहल रहा था ।
2. बच्चे दो घंटे से खेल रहे थे ।
3. हम लोग 1947 से अंग्रेजी सीख रहे थे ।
Notes :-
1. समय दिखाने के लिए 'for' या 'since' लगाते हैं
निश्चित समय (Point of Time) दिखाने के लिए 'Since' लगाते हैं ।
जैसे: since Friday , since 2020, since morning, since 5 o'clock etc...
2. समय की अवधि (Period of Time) के लिए 'for' लगाते हैं ।
जैसे: for three days, for five months, for eight hours and for many years etc..
▪️Affirmative Sentences▪️
Rule 1 : Subject कोई भी हो ( I, You, We, They, He, She, it, Singular noun हो या Plural noun ) Subject के बाद had been लगाकर verb की first form में ing लगाते हैं ।
Examples ;
1. वह सुबह से टहल रहा था ।
He had been walking since morning.
2. खुशी 2019 से पढ़ा रही थी।
Khushi had been teaching since 2019.
3. वह दो घंटे से शोर कर रही थी ।
She had been making a noise for two hours.
4. वे लोग तीन घंटे से व्यायाम कर रहे थे ।
They had been taking exercise for three hours.
5. मैं सुबह से उसका इंतजार कर रहा था।
I had been waiting for him since morning.
▪️Negative Sentences▪️
> इसमें had के बाद not लगाते हैं ।
Examples :
1. वह सुबह से नहीं टहल रहा था ।
He had not been walking since morning.
2. खुशी 2019 से नहीं पढ़ा रही थी।
Khushi had not been teaching since 2019.
3. वह दो घंटे से शोर नहीं कर रही थी ।
She had not been making a noise for two hours.
4. वे लोग तीन घंटे से व्यायाम नहीं कर रहे थे ।
They had not been taking exercise for three hours.
5. मैं सुबह से उसका इंतजार नहीं कर रहा था।
I had not been waiting for him since morning.
▪️Interrogative Sentences▪️
Rule 1 : अगर Sentence क्या से Start हो तो had कर्ता ( Subject ) से पहले लिखते हैं और फिर been के साथ verb की first form में ing लगाते हैं ।
Examples :
1. क्या वह सुबह से टहल रहा था ?
Had he been walking since morning ?
2. क्या खुशी 2019 से पढ़ा रही थी ?
Had Khushi been teaching since 2019 ?
3. क्या वह दो घंटे से शोर कर रही थी ?
Had she been making a noise for two hours ?
4. क्या वे लोग तीन घंटे से व्यायाम कर रहे थे ?
Had they been taking exercise for three hours ?
5. क्या मैं सुबह से उसका इंतजार कर रहा था ?
Had I been waiting for him since morning ?
